Laser Cut Dies:
All dies generated on our C.A.D. system and then sent direct to the laser for cutting. The rule can be prepared for insertion while the die is being laser cut using the automated rule processor/bender. Cutting dies are also manufactured for Blister Pack/Vacuum Forming using rule up to 100mm in height.
Phenolic Counters:
All counters are cut using the combination plotter. Reverse creasing can easily be achieved using counters. The reverse crease profiled on the counter and the channel replicated on the cutting die.
Samples, Keylines, Patch-Up Sheets:
The combination plotter can also produce high quality samples on both solid board and corrugated up to triple wall.
Stripping Units:
Newline produce stripping tools both male and female for conventional stripping units and also tooling for dedicated strippers (speed strippers). Dedicated stripping units reduce the necessity for bottom pins. The stripping units can be fitted with bars and quick-lock tooling enabling them to be machine ready.
Blanking Tools:
Newline produce male and female blanking tools. The female tools are produced using a timber frame with steel grid inserts. The timber frame is mounted on a universal aluminum frame that is pre-cut to suit each press size. The tools are produced using a CAD software programme specially written for the automated creation of female and male blankers CimBLANK . Newline already use CimPACK , the diemaking module of the software from Cimex Corporation U.S.A.
The software enables automated generation of the main frame to suit the particular press. A full range of components joggers, fixing brackets and bar mounting brackets are then added. Extremely quick generation of compound bent bars between blanks as well as simple straight ones.
Flexible Dies:
Newline Dies are agents for Flexible Dies manufactured by Spilker GmbH in Germany. The dies for use mainly in the adhesive label industry. The flexible dies are produced using laser technology and range in quality finish from standard to diamond depending on your cutting requirements. The flexible dies are mounted on magnetic cylinders which we can also supply.
